The United Methodist Women’s organization is open to any woman who chooses to belong and commits herself to our Purpose:

“The organized unit of United Methodist Women

shall be a   community of women whose Purpose

is to know God and to experience  freedom

as whole persons through Jesus Christ;

to develop a creative,  supportive fellowship;

and to expand  concepts of mission through

participation in the global ministries of the church.”

United Methodist Women is an official organization of the United Methodist Church.  It is one of the largest women’s organizations in the world with over one million members worldwide.  Our purpose is mission; primarily to women, children and youth.  We have women of all ages and life stages involved in education, spiritual growth, Christian social involvement, and mission outreach.

The United Methodist Women of FUMC of Morrilton meet together as a unit five times a year on the first Monday of February, April, June, October and December.  Child care is available for unit meetings. These meetings alternate between daytime potlucks and evening “dessert only” gatherings of our entire membership.  There are four circles that meet on a monthly basis; two in the afternoon and two in the evening.  For more information contact President, Pam Brownlee.  Her contact information is found on the Officers’ page.
